Looking forward to Spring

Hello everyone!

Is Spring popping up in your neck of the woods yet? We had a little sampling of it last weekend, when the sun shone and the temps rose to in the 50’s. It was heavenly! I mean, if we can’t have a real winter with snow, then I’ll hop straight to Spring~ thank you very much! But these last few days it has been miserable weather again…lots of wind, cloudy skies,Ā  and nasty, damp temps. I think I’m over it! So I thought I’d go find some Spring by collecting some fun projects and here you are:

First of all, with Easter coming up, I wanted to share this sweet little bag! Image via https://makeit-loveit.com/drawstring-bunny-bags Aren’t these the cutest? We might end up having some extra people for Easter breakfast and maybe I should make them one of these to put some special treats in?! You can find the pattern by going here: https://makeit-loveit.com/drawstring-bunny-bags

How about making a bouquet that never fades? This site is not in English, but you can use Google translate ( and I think it looks really straightforward šŸ˜‰ ) from http://kreatywnezycie.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2016-03-13T21:02:00%2B01:00&max-results=7You can find these instructions here: http://kreatywnezycie.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2016-03-13T21:02:00%2B01:00&max-results=7

I couldn’t find any tutorial or pattern for this keyfob, but it looks pretty straightforward! from https://sewingflowers.einsnummer.com/schlusselanhanger-blume/Isn’t it cute?

Okay, this is not particularly Spring-like, but I couldn’t resist these cute kitties! from Annies.comI think we all know some cat lovers that would love to own this pillow! You can find this pattern here:Ā http://shrsl.com/255f2

I think this table runner is too cute!

from Annie's catalogYou can find this pattern by going here: http://shrsl.com/255fe

If some nice new fabric would brighten your day, I am going to suggest this gorgeous collection!

via Fat Quarter ShopI have to admit that this one is in my shopping basket as we speak ;). You can find this collection here: http://shrsl.com/255fw

And finally, I designed this bunny placemat a few years back and I wanted to add it to the list because I think he is darn cute!Ā  via Farmhouse Quilts Do you know someone who might like a bunny placemat? You can find my tutorial for this by clicking here: https://farmhousequilts.blog/tutorials/bunny-placemat/

I do hope I have brought a little bit of Springtime to your little world with this post! Tell me, which item speaks to you the loudest right now?

Until next time~happy creating!

  2. The bunny drawstring bags are so cute. I think they would be perfect for an Easter treat and small toy for my 4 Grandchildren, look easy enough to resize if needed. Thanks for sharing spring ideas , I too am tired of winter, even though we have had many warm days here in NC and the daffodils are blooming, yesterday we had thunder snow ā„ļø Bring on spring!
